Meet The Teacher

My name is Amber Laue and I live in South Beloit with my husband, Jay, and my two daughters Natalie(6) and Whitney(almost4).  I am originally from Freeport, Illinois where I attended Highland Community College for two years before graduating Cum Laude from Rockford College in 2006.  I was hired in 2006 as the Elementary Art Teacher.  Since then, I have spent 4 years teaching Kindergarten, 3 years teaching First Grade, and a half a year covering a maternity leave in 2nd Grade.  I absolutely love teaching in Pec.  The kids and their families are absolutely wonderful!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends.  I am an avid reader and am known to start and finish a book in a single day.  Sometimes they are just too good to put down! In the fall, we spend a lot of time cheering on our beloved Green Bay Packers.  Go Pack Go!
